My name is Kenneth R. Walker and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor - Intern. My LPC-A licensed work is being supervised by Chevonda Callender Allen, MA, LPC-S. I am from the South Suburbs of Illinois. I have traveled and lived in many places throughout my lifetime including overseas for several years in the Middle East. After serving 5 years active-duty military, I decided to attend college to pursue a degree in the counseling discipline. I graduated from Governors State University in May of 2015 with my Masters in Health Sciences in Addiction. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced difficult times in their life and find themselves stuck. Stress, anxiety, depression as a result of traumatic experiences are understandable. My desire is to come alongside you during this low point in your life and walk with you along your road to recovery. I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and am certified in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
